The Fundamentals of Coaching Hockey (FOCH) course is designed to provide an understanding of the basics of coaching hockey. Participants will learn how to prepare sessions, how to break down and coach key hockey techniques and how to develop those techniques into skills through conditioned games. Completing this course is essential for those coaches wishing to undertake the Level 1.

Requirements to take part:
1. Over 16
2. Registered with Hockey Ireland.

SHC - Night at the Races

Catch up with other club members, grab a beer and have a €3 flutter on "live races" shown on the big screen.

Ticket includes entrance and 10 betting slips worth €3 each, to place on any of the 10 races that will be shown. You will receive your betting slips on arrival.

Those with a bet on the winning horse of each race will share the prize money for that race.. Prize money for each race will be announced in advance.

There will be no cash changing hands.. All bets are via the betting slips. Winnings will be tracked by the organisers, to be paid via Revolut or via a bank transfer after the event...

SHC - Night at the Races - U18 accompanied Ticket

Come along with your U18 player for an evening of "live racing" shown on the big screen. Players must be 15 or older and be already training or playing *SENIOR* hockey with the club.

One ticket allows entry for BOTH the parent/guardian and the U18 player. Use the name of the parent/guardian when purchasing this ticket.

Ticket includes entrance and 10 betting slips worth €3 each, to place on any of the 10 races that will be shown. You (the Adult) will receive your betting slips on arrival. U18s will NOT be allowed to place bets or collect winnings.
